The right to education is a fundamental right of all human beings that is established in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Covenants, the Convention of the Rights of the Children and other international treaties and declarations. This right allows them to acquire knowledge and thus achieve a full social life.
The right to education is vital for the economic, social and cultural development of all societies. However, it remains inaccessible to thousands of children around the world, which directly affects the lack of work and opportunities in life. Currently, in Venezuela, school dropout reaches 50% in schools of low-income areas.
There is no better investment than education. Children who go to school are healthier, have more confidence in themselves and are much more likely to become professionals.
